Here are some initial (not final) statistics, which show the Israeli war crimes against humanity, during the current Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, based on the reliable data reported by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza:

By July 24, 2025, the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip is 72,961+.   

This includes the accounted for deaths (59,587) and those who are still missing under the rubble (an estimate of at least 13,374+). 

By July 24, 2025, the documented injuries exceeded 143,498.

By July 24, 2025, according to news report, 1,010 Palestinians who were killed, 6,963 who were injured, and 12,832*, who were abducted by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, since October 7, 2023.

Note About the Missing Palestinians in the Gaza Strip:

On February 26, 2025, the Palestinian Center for Political and Development Studies announced that the number of the missing in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 14,000 people, including 2,000-3,000 held in Israeli occupation prisons, without releasing any information on their fate.

"وَمَنْ يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُّتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَاؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ خَالِدًا فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَعَنَهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُ عَذَابًا عَظِيمًا" (النِّسَاءُ ، 4: 93).

"Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32).

"And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93).

Then, when the latter (final) promise came, they (your enemies) will sadden your faces, and to enter the Masjid (in Jerusalem), as they entered it the first time, and will destroy what they had taken over with (total) destruction (Al-Isra, 17: 7).

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

 After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

Gaza death toll 59,587 as Israeli strikes kill 89 and wound 453 in 24 hours

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported, on Thursday, that 89 Palestinians were martyred and 453 others wounded in the last 24 hours due to Israeli airstrikes and shelling across the Gaza Strip, as the genocide against the enclave enters its 21st month.

Among the martyrs were 10 victims recovered from beneath the rubble of destroyed homes and buildings. The Ministry confirmed that the total number of martyrs who were transferred to Gaza hospitals in the past day alone reached 23, along with more than 68 wounded, indicating that many casualties remain trapped in inaccessible areas.

Since March 18, 2025, the Ministry has recorded 8,447 Palestinian deaths and 31,457 injuries from Israeli attacks.

Additionally, 279 martyrs were recently added to the official registry following confirmation by a judicial committee tasked with identifying missing persons. This brings the cumulative death toll since October 7, 2023, to 59,587 martyrs and 143,498 wounded, making it one of the deadliest and most destructive assaults on a civilian population in recent history.

The Ministry of Health warned that many victims remain buried under the rubble or stranded on roadways, with ambulance and civil defense crews unable to reach them due to ongoing bombardment and the destruction of critical rescue infrastructure.

Despite repeated international calls for a ceasefire and mounting evidence of war crimes, Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) continue to escalate attacks, with entire neighborhoods leveled and Gaza’s healthcare system pushed to the brink of collapse.

On day 657: Israel intensifies its ongoing genocide in Gaza

For the 657th consecutive day, Israeli occupation forces intensified their genocidal war on the Gaza Strip through relentless air and artillery strikes, deliberate starvation, and attacks on displaced civilians, under full US political and military backing, and with an alarming level of international silence and complicity.

According to the PIC field reporters, Israeli forces carried out dozens of air raids today, committing further massacres amid deepening famine and displacement that now affect over 2 million Palestinians.

Latest developments (Thursday)

At least 20 Palestinians were killed today by Israeli strikes across Gaza.

Two civilians were killed, and others wounded, after Israeli forces shelled tents sheltering displaced families in Al-Mawasi, Khan Younus.

Two more civilians were killed in Israeli artillery shelling near Al-Qastal Towers, east of Dair El-Bala'h.

A woman was killed and others wounded in an Israeli helicopter strike on the Al-Ghoul family home in Block 3 of Al-Buraij refugee camp.

Another Palestinian was killed in another Israeli airstrike near Abu Rassas roundabout in Al-Bureij.

Israeli forces detonated explosive-laden robots in Al-Shuja’iya, eastern Gaza City.

Medical sources reported evacuations from aid collection points in northwestern Gaza following Israeli attacks on civilians waiting for assistance.

Two civilians were killed and three others injured when Israeli forces targeted a tent near the Palestinian Legislative Council in western Gaza City.

Al-'Awda Hospital reported receiving three martyrs, including a child and an infant, from an Israeli strike on a home in Al-Nusayrat (central Gaza).

One person was killed in another Israeli strike on a home in Al-Buraij.

Three more civilians were martyred, and others wounded, in Israeli artillery fire near Al-Qastal Towers, east of Dair El-Bala'h.

Airstrikes also targeted and demolished multiple residential buildings in northern Khan Younus.

Ongoing genocide

Supported by unwavering American backing, Israel continued its full-scale genocide in Gaza. As of now, the Ministry of Health reports over 59,219 Palestinians killed, 143,045 injured, more than 11,000 missing, dozens dead from famine, and over 2 million forcibly displaced under catastrophic conditions.

Since Israel violated the March 18 ceasefire agreement, 8,363 people have been killed, and 31,004 injured. Since Israel turned limited aid distribution points into “kill zones” on May 27, 1,060 more Palestinians have been killed, with 7,207 injured and 45 missing, all while promoting the discredited and UN-rejected “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation” as a cover for collective punishment.

The Israeli army has also killed 1,590 medical personnel, 115 civil defense staff, 220 humanitarian workers, and 754 police and aid security officers during their duties.

Massacres and destruction

The Israeli military has carried out over 15,000 massacres, wiping out more than 2,500 families from the civil registry and devastating 14,000 family households.

According to Gaza’s Government Media Office and UN agencies, 88% of Gaza’s infrastructure has been destroyed, while economic losses exceed $62 billion.

Israeli forces currently control 77% of Gaza’s land through occupation, bombardment, and forced displacement.

The destruction includes 149 schools, universities, and educational institutions (completely destroyed), 369 partially damaged, 828 mosques destroyed, 167 partially damaged, and 19 cemeteries destroyed.

This relentless war is not only a humanitarian catastrophe but a calculated and systematic campaign of extermination, one that continues with the complicity of world powers and the abandonment of international law.

Dozens killed and injured, including children, in Israeli strike on Al-Shaikh Radhwan neighborhood in Gaza

GAZA, July 24, 2025 (WAFA) –

Several Palestinians were killed, including children, and many others injured on Thursday evening when the Israeli military launched a deadly series of airstrikes on Al-Shaikh Radhwan neighborhood in northern Gaza City, according to local sources.

WAFA correspondent in Gaza reported that multiple drone strikes targeted groups of civilians in the densely populated neighborhood, resulting in a massacre that left a high number of casualties. The exact death toll remains unclear as rescue operations continue under difficult conditions.

The attack came shortly after four people were killed and dozens wounded when an Israeli airstrike hit a civilian vehicle in the same neighborhood.

In a separate incident in southern Dair El-Bala'h, central Gaza, four members of the Ghurab family were killed when their home in the Al-Masha’la area was targeted by an Israeli strike. Several others were injured.

Meanwhile, three more Palestinians were killed in an airstrike east of Al-Tuffa'h neighborhood in Gaza City, where a group of civilians was targeted by the Israeli attack.

Elsewhere in central Gaza, a child was killed and several others injured when Israeli forces bombed a charging station in the town of Al-Zawayida.

Meantime, medical sources at Al-Shifa Hospital confirmed that a 10-year-old girl, Nour Riyadh Akhzeeq, died from starvation and severe malnutrition, as access to food and medical aid remains severely restricted.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 59,587 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 143,498 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.

13 Palestinians killed in two separate attacks, including 5 aid seekers

Five Palestinians were killed and dozens injured on Wednesday evening after Israeli occupation forces opened fire on civilians waiting for aid near “Zikim” checkpoint in the northwest of Gaza City.

Emergency and ambulance services confirmed the killing of five Palestinians and the injury of 58 others in northern Gaza after the Israeli army opened fire on hundreds of aid seekers.

Hospital sources in Gaza documented that a total of 77 Palestinians were killed by Israeli gunfire since dawn on Wednesday, including 25 aid seekers.

Israeli violations against civilians at aid distribution areas have escalated sharply, turning these gathering points into recurring targets in recent weeks. Human rights organizations have described this pattern as a “deliberate policy of starvation and collective humiliation.”

The total number of Palestinians killed at Israeli-American aid distribution centers in Gaza has now risen to 995 martyrs, with over 6,011 wounded and 45 missing, all of them starving civilians searching for food amid the siege and famine.

Later on Wednesday, the Israeli occupation army committed another massacre by targeting a group of Palestinians at the entrance of 20 Street in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp, central Gaza Strip, killing eight more civilians and injuring others to varying degrees.

The PIC correspondent reported that ambulance crews rushed to rescue the wounded under intense bombardment and the ongoing presence of Israeli drones.

This massacre occurred amid continued and intense Israeli escalation. Medical sources in Gaza hospitals reported that 56 people were killed since dawn in a series of airstrikes across various parts of the Gaza Strip, adding more pages to the open record of genocide against the Palestinian people.

Since October 7, 2023, and with full US backing, Israel has been carrying out a genocidal campaign in Gaza, involving mass killings, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring international appeals and defying orders from the International Court of Justice to cease its actions.

The genocide has resulted in over 202,000 Palestinians killed or wounded, most of them women and children, more than 11,000 missing, hundreds of thousands displaced, widespread famine that has claimed the lives of many, including children, and massive destruction.

Within 24 hours: Two more Palestinians die due to famine and malnutrition in Gaza

GAZA, July 24, 2025 (WAFA) – 

Medical sources announced on Thursday afternoon that two more Palestinian civilians have died due to acute famine and malnutrition in the Gaza Strip within the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 113.

They confirmed that nearly 10 people succumbed to similar conditions during a similar timeframe.

They highlighted that cases of malnutrition and starvation  continue to flood hospitals every moment, with 900,000 children suffering from severe hunger, including 70,000 who have entered  critical stages of malnutrition.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) had warned that malnutrition cases among children under five have doubled between March and June as a result of the Israeli blockade in Gaza.

UNRWA health centers and medical points had conducted approximately 74,000 malnutrition tests for children during this period, identifying approximately 5,500 cases of global acute malnutrition and more than 800 cases of severe acute malnutrition.

 Israeli bombardment kills 17 Palestinian civilians, injures several others across Gaza

GAZA, July 24, 2025 (WAFA) –

A total of 17 Palestinian civilians, including three aid-seekers, were killed in Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling in multiple areas in the Gaza Strip, according to medical sources.

WAFA correspondent said that three people were killed and dozens were wounded when Israeli forces opened fire on people waiting for humanitarian aid southwest of Khan Younus.

Israeli fighter jets also carried out an airstrike on Al-'Hinnawi School northwest of Khan Younus, killing two children and causing dozens to sustain various injuries.

In Gaza City, a drone strike killed one person near Muscat School, east of Al-Nafaq Street in Gaza City. Several causalities were reported after a house belonging to the Al-Da'hdou'h family was struck near Abu 'Habeeb Roundabout in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of the city.

The strike led to reports of people missing beneath the rubble of the targeted home.

Eight Palestinian civilians killed, dozens wounded in Israeli strikes across central Gaza

GAZA, July 24, 2025 (WAFA) – 

At least eight Palestinian civilians, including a child and infant, were killed and others wounded early Thursday morning in a new series of Israeli airstrikes and bombardment in the central Gaza Strip, according to medical sources.

Three people, among them a child and an infant, were killed when the Israeli fighter jets struck a residential home in the Al-Ahly Club area of Al-Nusayrat. Another citizen was killed  in a separate strike in Al-Buraij refugee  camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Furthermore. Israeli warplanes conducted an airstrike on a tent housing displaced families in the Al-Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City, killing three people and wounding others.

In Dair El-Bala'h, three more people were killed and dozens were wounded when Israeli artillery shelled a group of civilians near Al-Qastal Towers in the eastern part of the city. A woman also killed in a helicopter strike on the al-Ghoul family home in Block 3 of Al-Buraij refugee camp.

In the southern Gaza Strip, two Palestinians were killed and others were wounded when the Israeli occupation bombed tents for displaced persons in Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younus.

The latest Israeli genocidal air strikes come just a day after 54 Palestinians, including children, were killed in Israeli gunfire and shelling across  the Gaza Strip.

Gaza tribes: Water catastrophe threatening over two million lives

The National Assembly of Palestinian Tribes, Clans, and Families issued an urgent appeal on Thursday, calling on the international community to intervene immediately to halt a deepening water catastrophe in the Gaza Strip, which threatens the lives of more than two million Palestinians as water and sanitation systems collapse under the weight of Israel’s ongoing genocide and blockade.

In its statement, the Assembly said Gaza residents are suffering from a near-total lack of drinking water due to the systematic destruction of infrastructure, the shutdown of major desalination plants in Gaza City and Dair El-Bala'h, and the suspension of pumping from the Israeli water company Mekorot. Fuel shortages and ongoing power cuts have rendered most water systems inoperable.

“The majority of water wells in Gaza are now out of service due to Israeli airstrikes and widespread devastation,” the statement said. “This has dramatically worsened the humanitarian crisis, particularly in western Gaza, where nearly two million displaced people are crowded into crumbling shelters.”

The Assembly called on the United Nations, UNICEF, and all international humanitarian organizations to act immediately by delivering fuel, water, and the necessary equipment to restart desalination plants and water wells. It warned that ongoing inaction amounts to “tacit complicity” in the policies of starvation, thirst, and mass ethnic cleansing being carried out by the Israeli occupation army.

The Assembly placed full responsibility for the disaster on Israel and demanded bringing it to account for repeated violations of international humanitarian law.

Gaza’s municipalities confirmed the severity of the crisis, stating that the average per capita water availability has dropped below five liters per day, barely enough for drinking, cooking, and minimal hygiene. Current operating wells meet less than 12% of the population’s daily water needs.

The disaster is further intensified by electricity cuts and fuel shortages, which have shut down Gaza’s desalination plants, destroyed water pumping systems, and turned sewage into open rivers flooding residential neighborhoods.

Earlier this week, Gaza’s Government Media Office reported that two million Palestinians are now confined to just 12% of the Strip’s area, cut off from food, clean water, and basic medical care. Hospitals are collapsing under the relentless pressure of casualties, compounded by critical shortages in fuel, medicine, and essential supplies.

So-called Israeli Knesset approves extension of law allowing detention of Palestinians from Gaza without charges or legal representation

RAMALLAH, July 24, 2025 (WAFA) – 

The so-called Israeli Knesset (parliament) approved late Wednesday night  an extension of legislation that allows the detention of Palestinians from Gaza without charges, preventing them from meeting with legal lawyers for extended periods.

The extension law was approved with a majority vote of 30 in favor to 6 against.

According to Hebrew sources, the newly revised law authorizes Israeli courts to extend the prohibition on detainee access to lawyers by an additional 30 days at any stage of detention, not just during the initial period.

The law was first enacted in 2002, but was rarely used until it was expanded after October 7, 2023, it has allowed for detainees to be held for 30 days without indictment, and brought before a judge only after 45 days, often via remote Zoom hearings.

The law allows for a 45-day ban on meetings with an attorney, which may now be extended by an additional 30 days, following a court decision.

Yesterday, the Knesset voted on a statement expressing official support for imposing Israeli sovereignty over the occupied West Bank, marking the last major legislative move before parliament entered its summer recess.

Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces

Two Palestinian teens killed, their bodies held by the IOFs south of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem)

Two Palestinian teens were killed early Thursday morning after being shot by the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) in the town of Al-Khadhir, south of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem) in the West Bank.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the General Authority for Civil Affairs had informed them of the martyrdom of two Palestinians, who were killed by Israeli gunfire in Al-Khadhir and whose bodies are being held by the IOFs.

Local sources identified the two martyrs as A'hmed 'Ali As’ad 'Asheera Salah, 15, and Mu'hammed Khalid 'Ulayan 'Eisa, 17.

According to local reports, Israeli forces opened fire on at least four children and teens near Al-Ibara area, in the western part of Al-Khadhir, adjacent to the settler-only Road 60, wounding several of them.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said that Israeli forces prevented their medical teams from reaching the area to treat the injured.

Local sources added that the IOFs detained two of the wounded, while the others were transferred to hospitals in Bethlehem.

Elderly Palestinian woman injured in settler attack on homes in Masafir Yatta

Al-Khaleel (Hebron), July 24, 2025 (WAFA) – 

An elderly Palestinian woman sustained bruises and contusions on Thursday after a group of the illegal Israeli settlers had attacked homes in Masafir Yatta, south of Al-Khaleel (Hebron).

Media activist Osama Makhamra confirmed that dozens of colonists, heavily guarded by the Israeli army, attacked the homes of residents in the Sha'b Al-Batm area of Masafir Yatta.

The colonists reportedly hurled stones at windows, solar panels, and residential structures. The attack resulted in Subha al-Najjar, an elderly woman, sustaining bruises and contusions. Following the attack, al-Najjar was later rushed to a nearby hospital for medical assistance.

Makhara noted that daily attacks on local residents and their properties by colonists continue in Masafir Yatta, and often carried out under the protection of the Israeli army.

Two Palestinians kidnapped amid Israeli settler attack on Bait Ummar

The Israeli occupation forces kidnapped two Palestinians on Thursday following confrontations that erupted as local residents confronted an attack by the illegal Israeli settlers in the town of Bait Ummar, north of Al-Khaleel (Hebron).

According to media activist Mu'hammed 'Awadh, the violence began when a group of armed Israeli settlers, under the protection of Israeli forces, attacked Palestinian farmers with stones while they were working on their land in the Wadi El-Shaikh area, east of the town near Jabal Wardan.

'Awadh reported that confrontations broke out between the town's residents and the settlers, during which the Israeli occupation army detained two Palestinians.

Illegal Israeli settlers release livestock among homes, attempt to steal sheep in Aree'ha (Jericho) and Ramallah

RAMALLAH, July 24, 2025 (WAFA) – 

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers on Thursday morning released their livestock among the homes of Palestinian residents in the village of Shallal Al-'Auja, north of the occupied West Bank city of Aree'ha (Jericho).

The Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights confirmed that the colonist attacks are part of a series of ongoing provocations aimed at intimidating local residents and imposing colonial control over the area, threatening to forcibly displace the population.

These practices represent a direct violation of the residents' right to live peacefully and securely in their villages and on their land, the organization reported.

It warned that such assaults and violations further exacerbate the social and economic vulnerability of the population.

In a separate incident, colonists carried out an attack on the outskirts of the village of Al-Mughayyir, located northeast of the city Ramallah, and attempted to steal livestock owned by local Palestinian residents.

According to local sources, colonists broke into the Marj Sa'i plain and attempted to steal sheep belonging to Anees Abu 'Aliya. However, villagers confronted the assailants and forced them to withdraw.

The area has been witnessing a surge in attacks carried out by colonists that include setting fire to Palestinian lands and vandalizing their properties, particularly after the establishment of a new illegal outpost nearby.

Illegal Israeli settlers uproot over 40 grape trees, open gunfire at Palestinian shepherds in Al-Khaleel (Hebron) and Jordan Valley

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers on Thursday cut down over 40 fruitful grape trees in Masafir Yatta, south of the occupied West Bank city of Al-Khaleel (Hebron). 

According to local activist Osama Makhamra, a group of Israeli colonists vandalized and uprooted the fruitful grape trees belonging to Nasir Al-Nawaj'a in the village of Susiya.

During the attack, the colonists reportedly threw stones at Al-Nawaj’a’s home and physically assaulted him,

In a separate incident, colonists opened fire on Palestinian shepherds in the Jubaris area of the northern Jordan Valley.

According to local sources, armed colonists opened gunfire indiscriminately towards the shepherds while they were grazing their livestock, in an apparent attempt to forcibly drive them off their grazing lands.

Residents of the northern Jordan Valley have been living under harsh and unbearable conditions due to escalating attacks carried out by armed colonists, including physical assaults, raids on tents and livestock, and the prevention of grazing access

 The Israeli authorities force Palestinian brothers to self-demolish their homes in Jabal Al-Mukabbir

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime, on Thursday, forced two Palestinian brothers to carry out the demolition of their own homes in the neighborhood of Jabal Al-Mukabbir, southeast of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), under the pretext of lacking construction permits.

The brothers, Ayoub and Ibraheem Qunbur, were compelled to demolish their two-story residential building—which they had built in 2012—to avoid incurring hefty demolition fees imposed by the Israeli municipality.

The forced demolition has left 10 family members homeless. The building contained two apartments with a total area of approximately 140 square meters.

In May 2024, an Israeli court issued a final ruling ordering the demolition of the structure, despite the Qunbur family's efforts since 2016 to legalize the building. They had responded to municipal notices claiming the structure was built without a permit, submitting multiple requests for zoning regularization—none of which were accepted.

IOAR orders demolition of residential building in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), housing 17 families

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime (IOAR) issued a final demolition order for a residential building in the Al-Sawwana neighborhood of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), which houses 17 Palestinian families. The families have been given only three days to evacuate.

According to Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) Governorate, Israeli occupation forces raided the area surrounding the building and delivered the final demolition order to its residents, giving them until this Saturday, July 26, to vacate. The demolition will result in the displacement of approximately 100 Palestinians.

The building was constructed in 1998, and the first demolition order was issued in 2003 on the pretext of being built without an Israeli permit. Since then, the residents have paid heavy fines to the Israeli municipality over the years.

The Governorate also noted that among the residents is the family of Al-Shaikh 'Ikrima Sabri, the preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque and head of the Higher Islamic Council.

Ghana calls for immediate ceasefire in Gaza, condemns Israeli atrocities

ACCRA, July 24, 2025 (WAFA) –

Ghana's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Ablakwa, has called for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and strongly condemned the campaign of mass killing carried out by Israeli occupation forces.

The statement came following Ablakwa's meeting with Ma'hmoud Al-Habbash, Chief Justice of Palestine and Religious Affairs Advisor to President Ma'hmoud 'Abbas, who visited Accra as a special envoy of the Palestinian President.

In a press release issued after the meeting, Ablakwa reiterated Ghana's demand for an immediate end to the war in Gaza. He condemned the ongoing Israeli atrocities, reaffirmed Ghana's unwavering support for a two-state solution in accordance with United Nations resolutions, and urged an end to the forced displacement of Palestinians.

The minister also stressed the importance of ensuring the safe and unimpeded flow of humanitarian aid into the besieged territory.

As a current member of the United Nations Human Rights Council, Ghana, Ablakwa affirmed, remains committed to upholding the principles of the UN Charter, promoting human rights, and supporting a rules-based international order. 'Hamas: Imposing Israeli sovereignty over the West Bank is null and void

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, 'Hamas, said that the Israeli so-called Knesset's (parliament's) vote on a draft resolution to impose “sovereignty” over the occupied West Bank in preparation for its annexation “is a null and void and illegitimate measure that will not change the identity of the Palestinian land.”

In a statement on Wednesday, Hamas added that this measure constitutes a challenge to international laws and resolutions, and is an extension of the widespread violations committed by the Israeli occupation government in the West Bank, such as land theft and settlement expansion, alongside campaigns of killing, arrest, and repression against the Palestinian people.

The Movement called on the masses of the Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank and its active forces to unite, stand together, and escalate resistance in all its forms to thwart the occupation’s plans.

'Hamas also called on the international community and the United Nations to condemn this illegitimate move and to put an end to Israel’s recklessness, its fascist policies, and its continued violations of the rights of the Palestinian people, which only add fuel to the fire and increase tensions in the region.

The Knesset voted on Wednesday evening in favor of a draft law calling for the imposition of Israeli sovereignty over the West Bank and the Jordan Valley with a majority of 71 votes.

The decision came as part of a “proposal on the agenda” initiated by Knesset members Simcha Rothman, Orit Strock, Dan Illouz, and Oded Forer, and was approved by the Knesset Presidency last Monday.

This vote is seen as a continuation of the Israeli right-wing’s approach to gradually solidifying the reality of annexation. It comes after a previous Knesset vote, with an overwhelming majority, against the establishment of a Palestinian state, a clear political message to the international community.

The Israeli right aims to establish a de facto reality in the West Bank through “legislative” steps, especially after the current government intensified settlement projects and measures aimed at de facto annexation of large parts of the West Bank.

Spain condemns Israeli Knesset's call to support West Bank annexation

MADRID, July 24, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union, and Cooperation has strongly condemned the recent move by the Israeli Knesset calling for support to impose Israeli sovereignty over the occupied West Bank.

In an official statement released Thursday, the ministry criticized the non-binding vote, stressing that "despite its symbolic nature, it disregards fundamental principles and provisions of international law." Spain further emphasized that the decision runs counter to the advisory opinion issued by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on July 19, 2024, which deemed the occupation illegal.

"This decision undermines the foundation of a possible two-state solution," the statement added, "which is vital to safeguarding the rights of the Palestinian people, achieving lasting peace in the region, and ensuring the security of Israel." The ministry noted that such actions disregard commitments made by both parties since the Madrid Conference and the Oslo Accords.

Spain also reiterated its firm condemnation of settlement expansion, labeling it as illegal under international law, and denounced any efforts aimed at obstructing a peaceful resolution to the conflict.

The Spanish government renewed its call for the immediate release of all hostages and detainees, an end to hostilities, and unimpeded access for humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip in full compliance with international humanitarian law.

Russia voices deep concern over Israeli Knesset declaration on West Bank

MOSCOW, July 24, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Russian Federation has expressed serious concern over the recent declaration by the Israeli Knesset regarding the annexation of the West Bank, warning that the move constitutes a pre-determined outcome of final status negotiations and a violation of commitments made under the Oslo Accords.

In a statement issued by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Moscow emphasized that the declaration contradicts numerous resolutions of the United Nations General Assembly and Security Council, and undermines efforts toward a peaceful resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Russia said it assumes the declaration will not translate into concrete actions by the Israeli government on the ground. Saudi Arabia, Oman slam Israeli Knesset’s call to impose sovereignty over occupied West Bank

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia condemned a recent vote by the Israeli Knesset urging the Israeli government to impose sovereignty over the West Bank and Jordan Valley.

In a statement released on Thursday, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs described this move a flagrant violation of international law and United Nations resolutions.

It also described the Knesset's call as provocative steps that undermines ongoing efforts to achieve peace through the two-state solution and confirm their insistence on sabotage and destruction.

The Ministry affirmed  the Kingdom’s firm rejection of all violations by the occupation against the Palestinian population and their rights, foremost among which is the right to self-determination.

It also called on the international community to take serious steps to implement UN resolutions that support the inherent right of the Palestinian people to live with dignity on their land within their independent state on the 1967 borders with Jerusalem as its capital.

The Sultanate of Oman also voiced its denunciation over the Israeli Knesset's call to impose Israeli sovereignty over the West Bank, descripting the move as a blatant challenge to international law and UN resolutions, and a deliberate undermining of prospects for peace in the Middle East, the Palestinian people's right to self-determination, and the two-state solution.

Arab Parliament condemns Israeli Knesset vote backing sovereignty over West Bank

The Arab Parliament on Thursday strongly condemned the Israeli Knesset’s approval of a statement supporting the imposition of Israeli "sovereignty" over the occupied West Bank, calling it a blatant legislative assault on Palestinian rights and a serious escalation that undermines prospects for a two-state solution.

In an official statement released by Arab Parliament Speaker Mu'hammed Al-Yamahi, the move was described as a flagrant violation of international law and United Nations resolutions, most notably Security Council Resolutions 242, 338, and 2334.

Al-Yamahi warned that the legislation by the Israeli Knesset poses a direct threat to international peace and security, reflecting Israel's ongoing efforts to pursue expansionist colonial plans and entrench an apartheid system under a false legal pretext.

He urged the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) to take a firm stance against what he called the Knesset’s breach of the core principles of international parliamentary work, calling for Israel’s legislative body to be immediately suspended from the IPU. He argued that the Knesset, by legitimizing occupation and colonialism, undermines the democratic foundations on which the global parliamentary system is built.

The Arab Parliament also called on all parliaments around the world to reject any legislative outcomes from the Israeli Knesset that impact the legal status of the occupied Palestinian territories. Al-Yamahi advocated for the imposition of parliamentary sanctions against lawmakers who support annexation and settlement initiatives, identifying them as direct participants in violating international law and entrenching occupation and apartheid.

Reaffirming the Arab Parliament's full support for the legitimate national rights of the Palestinian people, Al-Yamahi stressed the importance of establishing an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) as its capital. 

He also called for a unified international parliamentary stance to confront the Knesset's legislative recklessness and to expose its actions in all international forums.

OIC strongly denounces Israeli Knesset vote to impose sovereignty over West Bank

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly denounced the recent vote by the Israeli Knesset in favor of imposing so-called Israeli sovereignty over the occupied West Bank, calling it a dangerous escalation aimed at entrenching illegal colonial occupation and undermining the two-state solution.

In an official statement released on Thursday, the OIC reaffirmed that Israel, as the occupying power, has no sovereignty over the occupied Palestinian territory, including Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

It further stressed that Israel’s occupation and colonial outposts are illegal under international law, relevant UN resolutions, and the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice.

The OIC reiterated its call on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities and take the necessary political and legal measures to support the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, including recognition of the State of Palestine, full UN membership, and efforts to end the illegal colonial occupation.

Palestinian human rights organizations urge UN to declare Gaza a famine zone

Palestinian human rights and civil society organizations have called on the United Nations to officially declare the Gaza Strip a famine zone, urging the international community to take immediate action to prevent mass deaths and ensure transparent, internationally supervised humanitarian aid delivery.

The call came during a joint press conference held in Ramallah on Thursday, organized by the Independent Commission for Human Rights (ICHR), the Palestinian NGO Network, and the Palestinian Human Rights Organizations Council. The groups warned of the severe deterioration of humanitarian and health conditions in Gaza, as the famine reaches a new and deadly stage.

"The systematic starvation policy is now entering a phase of preventing reproduction and physical extermination. This is a new stage of the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip, which has lasted for more than 21 months," said 'Isam Al-'Arouri, General Commissioner of the ICHR.

Amjad Al-Shawwa, Deputy Commissioner of the ICHR and head of the Palestinian NGO Network in Gaza, presented alarming statistics about the dire situation. He reported that more than 2.2 million people, roughly 94% of Gaza's population, have been forcibly displaced into an area that represents just 12% of the Strip’s total territory, about 50 square kilometers.  

He added that 82% of hospitals in Gaza are now out of service, and 75% of medicines and essential medical supplies have been completely depleted.

The organizations also expressed outright rejection of any dealings with the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation," accusing it of turning aid centers into "death traps." They demanded the replacement of such entities with transparent mechanisms under international supervision to guarantee safe and equitable aid access.

France and EU condemn Israel for targeting, killing Palestinian civilians at Gaza aid distribution sites

France has denounced Israeli for targeting of Palestinian civilians attempting to obtain humanitarian aid in Gaza, which has resulted in 1,000 reported fatalities over the past two months, according to United Nations data.

In a statement released Wednesday, the French Foreign Ministry affirmed the famine in Gaza is a direct consequence of the Israeli blockade, expressing deep concern over Israel's attacks in central Gaza Strip, where evacuation orders have displaced tens of thousands of civilians in Dair El-Bala'h.

These evacuations have severally hindered the work of several UN agencies and international NGOs.

The European Union called on Israel to stop killing Palestinian civilians at aid distribution points. EU Foreign Affairs Chief Kaja Kallas said she told her Israeli counterpart that the Israeli forces must stop killing civilians at aid distribution points in Gaza.

She said in a post on X, "The killing of civilians seeking aid in Gaza is indefensible."

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen also wrote on X, "Civilians must never be targeted. The images from Gaza are unbearable. This must stop now. Israel must uphold its obligations under international law.”
